We do love taking the boys into the city - I posted about our last itinerary here. Below - my son and the Degas dancers at the Met.
1. Eat an entire meal sitting down (we both usually spend at least half of each meal fetching things, cleaning up projectile beverages, gently corralling the pancreatitis-prone beagle away from the toddler in the high chair etc., and then there is the hurricane cleanup after dinner every night)
2. Actually talk to each other during points in the day when we are not exhausted
3. Partake in non-kid friendly dining including multiple cocktails at meals and going to restaurants where the tables are close to each other, topped with breakables and there are no highchairs on premises.
